What this site is for

RC Calculator is a set of practical calculators for RC car, boat, airplane, helicopter and drone hobbyists. Each tool answers one setup question — how fast a car should run on paper, what a gearing change does to wheel speed, how long a battery might last — and shows the formula, units and limits behind the answer.

The site is organized so tools, concepts and setup guides link to each other: a calculator result leads to the article that explains the formula, and to the guide that helps you apply it on the bench.

How to read the results

Every result is a theoretical estimate computed from the values you enter. Real models differ: voltage sags under load, motors run below their no-load RPM, propellers slip and tires deform. Use the numbers to compare setups and check that a combination makes sense — not as a guaranteed measured figure.
