Pick the mode
Use balance charge on a LiPo-compatible charger — never NiMH mode. Confirm cell count matches the pack.
Set the rate
1 C (capacity in Ah = charge current in A) is the safe default unless the pack maker allows more. Estimate timing with the Charge Time Calculator — real time is longer than the ideal because of the CV tail.
Check the charger
Make sure the charger can output the wattage: use the Charger Wattage Calculator (cells × 4.2 V × current).
Charge safely
On a non-flammable surface, pack in a LiPo bag, never unattended, room temperature. Stop if the pack swells, heats or smells.
After
Store at storage voltage (~3.8 V/cell) — most chargers have a storage mode. Check pack voltage with the LiPo Voltage Calculator.
